So, I've got another recipe under my belt. I took the leap and finally made cheesecake but with a little twist. You see, there was some household disagreement of which cheesecake to make. We got it narrowed to the ever popular Strawberry Cheesecake and the more indulgent Peanut Butter Cup w/Oreo Crust Cheesecake. I only have the one Instant Pot (Ultra 6 Quart) and I didn't want to cook twice but I still did not want to disappoint so I made 2 at one time!
Recipes and equipment I used are listed below.
The Strawberry only take 26 minutes and the Peanut Butter one takes 50 minutes. I started the PB one first for 24 minutes and then added the Strawberry one after a QR. The strawberry one was put on the bottom when added since it cooks a tad faster there.
I did spray the pans with olive oil but realize I didn't need to now. They came out of the pans just fine.
I used parchment paper on the bottom of each pan. It seemed to keep the crust intact.
For the Strawberry, I used plain yogurt instead of sour cream.
